Ever since I can remember I have always been playing around with design, imagery and publications. From writing and illustrating homemade comic books as kid, to wiling away the hours doodling in a sketchbook, and super-imposing my friends faces onto movie posters after first getting my hands on a copy of Photoshop Elements, in my early teens.

So when Sally and I got married in 2013 we decided to have a pop at designing our own stationery for the wedding. This included ‘save the date’ cards, invitations, maps, church service cards, wristbands and posters. We wanted to portray a casual, relaxed feeling for our guests and went for an Art Nouveau theme mixed in with a 60’s Woodstock vibe to go along with the tipi tents.

My style can be very adaptive and it was really fun and exciting to experiment with different themes for our big day. Wedding stationery can really influence the guests’ mood and perception for the day ahead the little things can make a difference to any happy couples special day!
